A Lazy S
Place
IS.....a place to decompress. This is a
single guest house on 12 acres. You are all by yourself.
The whole house is yours. We work hard to ensure that you feel
“cozy” and “comfortable”. The wood used in the remodeling of
this older style home was reclaimed from an 80 year old barn,
carefully planed and sealed. The long leaf and curly pine
withstood many seasons in Comfort and now has a new home on our
hill.
Specially designed gutters fill our
catchment tank on the side of the guesthouse. You will enjoy
taking a refreshing shower knowing that you are bathing in that
“Hill Country Rain” Jerry Jeff sings about. We
choose a green way of living to do our part ensuring that our
children’s children can enjoy this beautiful part of Texas for
years to come.

Of course!...bring your
puppy dog! We are dog friendly but it is important that they
are supervised and leashed while hiking. We have lots of
wildlife here and we wouldn’t want them to dash off chasing
deer or armadillo down the valley! |

A comfortable queen size
bed with 600 thread count sheets will rest your weary bones
downstairs, a queen size sofa sleeper upstairs. (please
note, steep and narrow attic stairs to loft, 250 lb limit on
ladder)

Should you choose to go
upstairs in the loft (pull down attic stairs) relaxing on
the sofa or glider allows you to gaze out any of the four
windows that face N,S, E or W. You may soak up the beautiful
scenery, enjoy a good book or just sit there and “look off”.
Ethernet connection available upstairs..wireless WIFI in
entire house. Cell phone coverage usually on back and front
porch and upstairs..heck..forget the phone, you're on
vacation! |

charcoal BBQs and smoker outside for your convenience. You

4 wheel drive or trucks are not necessary
to get up our road but very low to the ground profile vehicles
are not recommended. Come see us!

**There is an
abundant amount of wildlife and natural brush on these 12 acres
of land. Backpack down the hill to see many species of trees,
bushes, ground cover, not to mention plenty of deer, raccoon,
armadillo, wild turkeys and rabbits! For those who are
adventurous, you may camp at one of our primitive campsites
allowing you to sleep under the stars and still use the house as
home base. Our birds are plentiful with many birdfeeders on the
property. You may see our roadrunners, tufted titmouse, dove,
red shouldered hawks, painted buntings, Mexican free-tailed bats
and a myriad of hummingbirds. Please don’t forget your camera!

RATES:
$125.00/night for two adults
$135.00/night for two adults for breakfast items placed
in the fridge. You cook it when and how you want it!
Addt'l adults $25 ea per night. Maximum of 3
